omg, I am so sad,

I bought my first kit and all my paint supplies from her there was a problem with my order I had to call her, she was so sweet and friendly, she always had a gift with my order I named my first kit after her because she was so nice. Rest in peace Elena, You will be missed, God bless her family.

Didn't she find she had breast cancer? I'm not sure if that was what she told me back when it first happened and I was thinking her mom died of it? I might be wrong of course because I can get things mixed up. I just know once she was gone for awhile after that huricanine hit.a year or so ago. It just hit me like a rock in my stomach. I feel bad she was suffering so much. Bless her Lord and keep her close.

I don't know what her illness was, it's so sad, my heart hurts for her family. She's not suffering anymore she's with the Lord.

OH MY! I bought my first kit and supplies from her as well! Such a wonderful caring lady, my prayers are definately with her family, she will be missed greatly by the reborn community and everyone whos's lives she touched.

Elena had pancreatic cancer that spread to her liver. She was a lovely person and will be sorely missed in the doll world

Thanks for letting us know Sage, and thanks for letting us know the correct information Steph. My condolences to her family. I had heard she was ill for some time. Yes it's a great loss to the reborn community :(

Thanks for letting us know the facts, Stephanie. I've been so sad since I heard about Elena last Saturday on my way to the ER. So many of us have had contact with her and she will truly be missed.

My mom passed away of pancreatic cancer over twelve years ago now ,and I still miss her so much ,every day. She lived about ten months after her diagnosis so I feel so bad for Elena's family especially her children. It's so hard losing a mother ,and especially losing your mom to such a horrific disease. It's so hard to see someone that you love decline that way ,and so fast. I bought so many of my supplies from her over the years ,and I will miss her kindness. She was a very special lady ,and she will be missed I'm sure by all of us so much. Rest in peace Elena ,and my prayers and thoughts are with your family.

has anyone tried dd's ldc paints, i was told they.re pretty much the same as bnb adps.i don't know cos i'm addicted to ghsp.truth is i;m a big chicken......bok.....bok sage aww

Nope the ones she sells are air dry paints. I don't know if there's any connection with BnB but she does sell them. Just thought those of you that like the air dry could ask her any question about the thinner used or to replenish supply's.

Just an idea if you want to try AD paints and don't know who to go to for questions ... RE also sells AD paints (shameless self promotion--I am a dealer but have not been able to try the paints). James Carlsson from RE would know the answers to your questions about their AD paint or would least who to ask. He is a member of this forum (jamescarlsson)

James usually comes on to promote the Colliii contests. He's not on often though. You might try to contact him through colliii.com if you don't get any nibbles from him in forum.

Also, Linda, can you pm me the info on RE (whatever that is) please? And DD does have some nice adp's and they're not really that expensive (IMHO) because you only use a small amount like with the GHSP's. I have them but have not had the opportunity to use them yet (I'm a smaller chicken than Sage lol) but haven't had the time lately. I have used JoSonja though so not quite a big a chicken as some hehehe bock bock. :o
I might try them soon though as I can't pounce well right now with a separated shoulder and I NEED to make some babies!
