Photograph just misses works number of this 75mm Krupp mountain gun in Turkish service captured 1918 by Australian Light Horse now on display in Corrigin W.A.

Is the barrel stuck in the full recoil position?

Another thread suggested that the Japanese Type 41 mountain gun was based on this gun.

I don't know whether the barrel is in the full recoil postion and frankly it looks a little smaller than 77mm which is what is noted in Bill Billett's book. I have asked the guy who took the photo to take some more. It is currently located in a colossal empty wheat shed - I had to crop it substantially.
