Not sure either, I guess your toy is a Lledo (Days Gone) so I think that is 1/64.

Hi PDA Most of the these diecast vehicles are to a larger scale, exactly what scale is difficult to say as many are made to fit the box, I think these though are an odd scale "roughly" 1/64 and both Corgi and Lledo favoured this scale but expect some variation,  so may fit in with 28mm or true 30 mm figures.....

Using your information I was able to find this photo



which puts average sized people next to the lorry, to give a rough idea of size. That should roughly tally up with alfisherjr's dimensions.

I haven't got any 28mm figures (yet) to place next to the toy, and I haven't found the time to try some 1/72 figures next to it. But I have a feeling it will sit better with 28mm figures. Or maybe Zvezda's figures!

(As an aside, it would be easier if 28mm figure enthusiasts could agree on what scale they using; S gauge, 1/64 or 1/56.)

Yes, Ironsides, my toy truck was made by Lledo, but I haven't seen anywhere where they state the scale; a lot of people speculating, which is fine, but nothing "official". It actually doesn't matter to me whether it is 1/72 or 28mm, as I plan on getting some 28mm WW1 chaps soon enough, and, of course, I have a ton of little 1/72 guys.

I bought two of these because I wanted something durable and interesting for Little PDA to play with when he gets a wee bit bigger, and I wanted one for myself to back date and tinker with (ie, also play with!). They were cheap, and there are a lot available (unlike HMAC Ajax).

here's an advert for a 4 1/2" scale Foden, if you multiply the model dims by 2.666 that should give you the fullsize dims.  I suspect the width has been extended to improve stability?

I guess there's some confusion, I think Lledo is taken over by Corgi.
The Models of Yesteryear, from Matchbox: their RR armoured car is in 1:48, their Foden is in 1:72, according to the Yesteryear Book,by McGimpsey and Orr, Major Productions LTd 1996. I don't know the Lledo is the same as the Matchbox/Dinky...and indeed, "Corgi says" theirs is in 1:50...

The picture, I guess it's a well known one but may be some help for detailling?

At least two the Corgi foden in WD markings is the same as the "Days Gone" LLedo, Corgi also produce a very nice Foden in the larger scale "Vintage Glory" range...

I have recently received the plastic 1/72 Keil Kraft kit of this lorry, and I've had a chance to roughly compare them. Apart from the height of the cab roof, they seem to be the same size (give or take a mm here and there). So it seems the Days Gone By lorry is meant to be 1/72 scale. So you can get your order in to Mr Tronics.
