Folks, this may have been posted before although I did search and couldn't find it so I'm just posting here in case you haven't seen it before. There is a bit about learning the drums and the role of the drums in the band (and a nice analogy when talking about his famous uncle later in the interview) but it's mostly a football interview. Still, it's always nice to hear the rest of Pulp speak a bit more

This one's actually better.

Sincere apologies if these have been posted before. New to me!

Thanks for these Jean. I always like seeing different members too. Nick is always a good listen. I've observed to people before that there seems to be a certain similarity between drummers and goalkeepers, the mad one out on their own at the back, so how exciting to know that this is validated by Gordon Banks! Though Nick is probably the least mad of any of them.

Nick has been getting into a local tree war lately.

Thanks for the reply, Fran. Yeah, it does seem to work a little bit the other way with Pulp in the sense that Nick always seemed the most normal or, as my mother so eloquently put it when I was a child, "Except for herself [meaning Candida], he looks like the only one who has had a wash and isn't a criminal!" I think she was being a bit harsh and what she probably meant was he looked more normal Much as I love Jarvis interviews I do love hearing what the others think as each member is definitely important in their own way and you only realise fully when one leaves. Cannot wait for the Russell book!

Ta for the link - didn't realise he was on Twitter!
