Hi,

Looks like you've caught me in action!
The one in blue t-shirt in the 2nd photo is me!

I'm from Singapore, and just happened to be in Luang Prabang on that night of the festival.smile

It was quite interesting and an eye opener.

You know where on the internet I can know more about that festival?

Hello, AReality ! welcome to Luang Prabang 2 Day weblog.

I'm not sure the information about that festival in the other web, but you can use this keyword for search "Lai Heau Fai festival and Ok phansa festival"
and you can ask me and other members as well.

Have you got nice photos in that night ? if you don't mind, please you share the photos for us.

Thanks for visiting.

Hi,
I'm writing a story, and I have some some questions.

Why do the monks light up their "Wat" with candles and lanterns in the night? Is it only for this festival?

The "Boun Lai Hua Fai" is held 1 day after the full moon?

The costumes worn by the females during the parade are local tribal costumes?

Hope you can help.

Thanks in advance.

Red or yellow LED Flashlights are used in indicator and alphanumeric displays in environments where night vision must be retained: aircraft ****pits, submarine and ship bridges, astronomy observatories, and in the field, e.g. night time animal watching and military field use.
