That is too much, my father-in-Law's Restaurant was 752 Danforth, he had it from 59-83. There is a sign that says 740 Danforth in the pic. That Texaco station was where he had his cars repaired. Owner would send over for lunch almost everyday.

Those were the days when GM ruled! I count at least 4 Ponchos and 5 other GM products in that picture. I remember when the Danforth used to be full of car dealerships from one end to the other. As a kid, it was amazing the see all of the automotive variety on that street.

That sir is the Bloor Viaduct. Not only is it one of the major thorough fares of Toronto it also carries subway trains accross the Don Valley on the underside to downtown Toronto. It was an engineering and construction marvel at the turn of the century Toronto.

Ok, now you're making it harder. Too many posted to go one by one but there are several around Old City Hall Torornto which is Bay and Queen. The streetcars give away a lot of locations because they ran and still do on King Street and Queen Street and up Bay back then.
Plenty of Pontiacs in those pictures and one of my favourites a 59 Caddy Flat top.

Isn't it neat, to be able to identify, each make of car! Imagine photos on the site, 40 years from now, showing nothing but Corollas and Camry's
I can't tell them apart now, in 40 years they will all just be silver blobs.
Do these cars come in any other colour than silver? I'm looking in our parking lot and there they are, silver Civic, silver Corolla, silver Pilot, silver Matrix, silver Mazda something, silver Sienna, oh look a black Nissan tiny something or other and a silver Sunfire....where did that come from, Black Impala and Moonstone Deville, now we're talkin !

Silver is a secret color that makes people buy a import My Mother (78) wanted a new car in 2002... She tells everyone, that she only does things, after consulting with me.. I tell her to buy a red (her favorite color) 2002 Impala! She had trouble, with the silver paint, on her previous car, so I tell her "don't buy Silver"... I tell her not to buy undercoating, as most new cars, have rust warranty. I tell her not to buy extended warranty, as she put "no miles" on... She goes to Amherst Nova Scotia and buys a 2002 Toyota Camry List $25,800 She pays "list" plus, she pays $150.00 extra, to bring in "Silver" from Halifax..She pays $895.00 for undercoating, and $2000.00 for "extended warranty" The car ,today has 27.000km on it.. She takes it to Amherst, for a $270.00 oil change twice a year, and loves her 2nd set of tires!!! ya Silver is the way to go!! lol
That sure looks like my 63 Canso Somehow I think there may have been more than 1 blue 4 door sedan built that year! Check out that Parisienne hardtop being used to it's full 6 passenger capacity!
Hillar, I thought mine was one of one! I think that was the most popular colour on Acadians & Nova's. Fawn biege being next on the list. Brad, I doubt that would be my car as it probably never left Oxford county til '07!
