Under David Crabtree's leadership, the starting point for this colloquy was one of his presentations at our 2004 Conference on The Purpose, Essence, and Practice of Education: The Celebration of Justice. His talk, entitled Technique and Justice in Education: Valuing Every Student, was one of the 'Practice of Education' sessions.
