How to Set up

Step 1

Download Winamp
http://www.winamp.com/download/

Befor you can do anything esle you need to make sure winamp
is closed all the way!!!!

Step 2

Download Plugin
http://www.shoutcast.com/downloads/shoutcast-dsp-1-8-2b-windows.exe

Step 3

Download Server

http://www.shoutcast.com/downloads/sc1-9-4/shoutcast-1-9-4-windows.exe

The Setup

Once you have those 3 programs download
go to Start Menu
All Programs

Then you well see something like this
SHOUTcast DNAS

go over to
Edit SHOUTcast DNAS configuration

Once you have done all of that please closed it and save. just click YES

Now go to Start All Programs
To:--------> Winamp

You have that open, click on it and press Ctrl+P that will open
Winamp Preferences

you will see General Preferences Skins Plugins click on Plugins
click on DSP/Effect beside it it the big write box find
Nullsoft SHOUTcast Source DSP v1.8.2b [dsp_sc.dll
At the bottun you will see Configure active plugin click on it
SHOUTcast Source will open
at the top you will see Main Output Encoder Input
open up OutputStatus Connect at startup
make sure that box it checked
you well see under it | Connection | and | Yellowpages|
Click on Yellowpages
Make this server public ( Recommended) Make sure the box is checked
Unnamed Server - AirWaves Radio (DJNAME)
URL - http://www.airwavesradio.ca
Genre - Best Variety
you can leave AIM ICQ IRC the way the are or you can exit that
your seft
Now go make to Connection
Output Configuration
Localhost - 69.195.47.242
Port - 8080
Password - abc123
Encoder - 1

HOW TO TALK ON THE AIR: on SHOUTvast Source you will see input click on that
then you will see Input Device there is a drop down menu when ever you went
to talk put it down to soundcasr input and when you are done talking put it
back up to Winamp (Recommendec) you got to make sure you do that or people
will hear you type and talk.
