Opening with a conversation between Ragman and Mr. Terrific about faith, while the angel Zauriel is leading what appears to be a Mass with prayers for the fallen, the injured and the missing, this storyline quickly develops into a more action packed adventure involving more characters than you can count.

Next we see several of the missing JSA on what appears to be Earth 2. Switch to the Earth 2 Superman and his Lois Lane standing outside the Daily Star on wha appears to be Earth 2. Lois seems to imply, but Kal-l never seems to catch on to her idea that Earth 2 is manufactured.

Afer the Earth 2 scene we are transported back to Earth One and the Batcave where Booster Gold is bringing Jaime Reyes, the new Blue Beetle, to meet with Batman about joining his team to take out the Brother Eye satellite.

Next scene: Superboy "unconscious" and in some type of holding tank being talked to by none other than Lex Luthor, who calls him "my son."

Back to Earth 2 and flashbacks, then Earth 2's Lois Lane dies and a fight between Superman and Superman begins with the Earth 2 Superman blaming Kal-el for his Lois Lane's death. At the same time back on Earth 1, Alexander Luthor, engaged in a conversation with the Psycho Pirate, is planning to bring back the multiverse.

Next scene: Wonder Woman is being coached by Earth 2's Wonder Woman Diana Prince and told she needs to stop the fight between Superman and Superman. After Wonder Woman intervenes with her magic lasso, Kal-l realizes that he has been manipulated by Alexander Luthor. It is revealed by Alexander, as he explains it to the Psycho Pirate that Earth 2's Superman is tied to the return of the multiverse. Alexander works his strange science and suddenly...

Thousands of parallel worlds start to appear, including one which is box like in structure rather than round.

Back to Earth One and New Yourk where Nightwing is preparing an all out assault and last stand against Alexander Luthors machinations. He is joined by Superboy as the parrallel worlds appear above and around Earth One. In Tokyo as the female Dr. Light and Rising Sun rescue people caught in the cataclysmic events caused by the parallel worlds appearing, the Flash (Wally West) appears to warn them that someones escaped and he's coming. As Dr. Light asks him who he points toward the sky and says "Him. Superboy Prime."

Without going into much conjecture Superboy Prime's eyes are red as if possessed and he is wearing armor apparently taken from the anti-monitor. LOOK OUT.
