Cpl Rodney Wilson, 4 Rifles, was killed on operations in Iraq on 6 June 2007. His funeral will take place at 1200hrs Friday 22nd June at Tidworth Miltary Cemetery. Anyone planning to attend is advised to be early as parking will be at the DD Crossing Point and a shuttle service will take people to/from the Cemetery.
Another Rifleman has paid a heavy price. My deepest sympathy to all his family, friends and those in the battalion that will miss him and remember him forever.

RIP Cpl Wilson Ex pupil of the Duke of Yorks School Dover.I have been told that the school had a moments silence on church parade and in chapel this week to remember all the fallen and in particular Cpl Wilson. Sadly I never knew you.
My sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the family and friends of L/Cpl Wilson. Another tragic loss of life in that tragic part of the world. I did not know you personally but we were fellow brothers of black and green and as such I mourn you loss. Rest easy your job is done.
