Death of Cpl R Wilson, 4th Rifles

Cpl Rodney Wilson, 4 Rifles, was killed on operations in Iraq on 6 June 2007.  His funeral will take place at 1200hrs Friday 22nd June at Tidworth Miltary Cemetery.  Anyone planning to attend is advised to be early as parking will be at the DD Crossing Point and a shuttle service will take people to/from the Cemetery.

It is a very sad day to hear of another Tragic loss of a fellow Green Jacket to this tragic war.  

RIP fellow Green Jacket and it is ironic that you happened to make that mile stone of 150.

I am saddened to see the loss of another Green jacket. Though I did not know you, you are my brother in green. My sincerest condolences to your family and friends.
You are gone but not fogotten.

RIP Cpl Wilson
Ex pupil of the Duke of Yorks School Dover.I have been told that the school had a moments silence on church parade and in chapel this week to remember all the fallen and in particular Cpl Wilson.
Sadly I never knew you.

Another tragic loss of life in that tragic part of the world. I did not know you personally but we were fellow brothers of black and green and as such I mourn you loss.

well will you know how to go out. i just wish i was there with you that day as you was always there for me in camp and down town. You had a great send off mate, your dad made sure of that down the pub. take it easy up there and i'll see you soon mate (LEGEND)
