Sounds just like my bike......which has a big one pipe on it.

I think it is just the nature of the pipe tbh, moves the power higher up the revs and loses low-mid power.

Has your fresco pipe got rid of the twisty part of the stock pipe just as it comes off the head? Just comes straight out and into the expansion chamber?

fresco is the same as the bigone pipe, i have both, one as a spare and they are the same.
I think your problem is more to do with how the pipes setup there is away around it and thats locking the powervavle open all the time instead of having the servo do it when it feels like it

My powervalve was pegged open...no power until 8000rpm.

I fitted a powervalve servo to try and get back some low end but it seems no better.

I have bought a standard front pipe as a last resort to see if it makes any difference so will find out soon.

Do you still have the old pipe?

I would put it back on and fit the powervalve and see what it feels like.

If you really don't like how the power comes in so late with the new pipe maybe sell it on again on ebay?

I still don't know if the standard pipe is any different as i havn't got it yet, will let you know how it is when i get it.

Also i noticed the dep pipe keeps the twistiness of the original unlike the fresco/big one maybe that would be a better option, bit expensive though.

ive got a servo waiting to go on but waiting till i got it running right as it hasnt run for 3 years, it should give the bike more power through the rev range but no more than if it were derestricted i think

not quicker no.

The big one moves all the power to the top of the revs from 8000rpm to past 12000rpm it is pretty quick, but it is useless below 8000rpm even with a powervalve servo.

Like craig said you put it in 6th and if you just drop the revs a bit you have to keep changing down gears to get it going.

I don't really know much about the new bikes, I do think a dep pipe is better than the one i had on though.

its only a 125 what do you expect from it. dep pipe will just add a bit more bhp to your bike and make it feel a bit faster.

Just put some pics up of it.

Done a bit of green laning but not much, have to say when i took it out today up one of the lanes it felt so much nicer to ride with the standard pipe and servo on it.
