Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Sequoia RV Ranch California

http://www.sequoiarvranch.com/
Here's my review of our recent visit to Sequoia RV Ranch east of Visalia California in the the Three Rivers area, below Sequoia National Park.  The website is shown above for all of the details about the campground and location information.
-We were looking for the perfect setting to spend a week and meet with some friends who recently purchased a new Motorhome.  We found it.... Sequoia RV Ranch is beautiful.  21 acres of grassy bliss, set among old oak and sycamore trees with a few other varieties of trees thrown in.  A very natural and rustic old California feel to the park.   The owners, Janet and Mitch, have really worked hard to improve the campground and it shows.
-The park is split into long term and overnight spaces.  Most of the overnight spaces are pull throughs and have either a cement pad, gravel or hard pack dirt to park on, with a cement pad and picnic table right outside your door at quite a few of the spaces.  There is a great swimming hole at a slow moving spot in the river that runs through the eastern edge of the park.  We stayed in space 55, the best space in the park.  It had plenty of room for our 2 slideout fifth wheel and truck.  The space parallels the Kaweah river with a grassy slope about 20 feet down to the rivers edge. There is a huge oak tree that is like an umbrella over the site, the tree provided shade throughout the day. The river was running fast due to snow run off and the sound of rushing waters made for pleasant sleeping conditions.  The weather was perfect, the views were perfect, the spot was perfect....just what we needed.
-Three Rivers is a small town with unique shops, antique, gifts, jerky, markets and a great handmade candy & ice cream shop, Reimers... the wild blackberry ice cream was my favorite.
-Sequoia National Park entrance is about 10 miles from the campground so we took a day trip up to see the giant trees.  Beautiful and awe inspiring as always, four feet of snow still on the ground, very picturesque. While at the visitor's center a coyote stopped by to view the humans and provide an opportunity for some closeup pictures.  The wildflowers were in bloom at the lower elevations, making for a spectacular drive back to camp.
-If you have the opportunity to visit Sequoia RV Ranch, you won't be dissappointed.  It's a great base camp when visiting the Sequoia and Kings Canyon National parks.

Absolutely wonderful review! Thanks for this insite to what sounds like the perfect campground. We need more of these on the forum. I liked the way that you labeled the post so we can refrence it later. Over a period of time we should have a very good list of CG and reviews.

Thanks

Joe and Sherri
