If it takes a group of people to club together from here, then count me in. I think that versions of all of the tracks will already circulate -
the January Bath gig had Thrash, Please Don't Worry, Zhivago, What Do You Say?, How Could You?, Teen Angst, Why Live?, Refuse to Be Blind, Turkey Mambo Momma and I Scrubbed the Crabs that Killed Sheffield. Some of this has circulated, I think. It's a really clean sounding tape.
By 23rd Feb - a week after this tape - they'd dropped Zhivago and I Scrubbed the Crabs that Killed Sheffield and added Wishful Thinking,
Again, I think some of this circulates? It's not the best quality!
On the 28th Feb - another week later - it's again much the same lineup, but with the unexpected encore of the early What's Wrong With My Girl?
In short, I think this tape will make an interesting listen - esp if the quality is good. But it won't fill in any gaps in what we know of Pulp. I've had a few messages with the seller in the past, and I know I'm not the only one who has, and I did leave a message on a recent post of his on a Sheffield Tape Archive post. I wonder if that has prompted this? It has been offered for sale before, I think, or at least teased, but nothing has ever come of it.
Let us know, Scott. And let's try and work as a team on this :)
